FAQ

Do SensoScientific’s temperature monitors meet compliance requirements?

Yes, our monitoring system meets regulatory standards for CDC, VFC, HACCP, FSMA, FDA, and more. The 21 CFR Part 11 validated SensoScientific Cloud centralizes all data records and allows for documented corrective actions, making it easier than ever to meet compliance.

What features make SensoScientfic’s temperature monitors unique?

Our temperature monitors have the most up-to-date technology with the ability to be used remotely through IoT and over-the-air cloud services. Our monitors are also fully automated, making data logging simpler than ever before. With our systems, you can always be sure that the information recorded is accurate.

Can SensoScientific systems monitor factors other than the temperature?

Yes. Not only do we monitor the temperature with expert precision, but we also monitor humidity, light, differential pressure, and many other environmental factors. Take a look at our product page to find the right application for your environment.

How will staff be notified of any problems?

Our sensors are engineered with IoT technology, which means they send 24/7 alert notifications through the SensoScientific Cloud the moment environments fall out of range. You can customize notifications preference to choose if you want to receive alerts by email, phone, text, SMS, pager, or fax. That way, you never miss an excursion.

What are the options for data storage?

All nodes are engineered to upload unlimited data to the SensoScientific Validated Cloud, powered by the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform. This means you don’t have to worry about paying a premium for data packages or running out of memory on your physical device. The cloud is equipped with failover disaster recovery so you never lose data.

Do we have to do bulk downloads?

No. Our remote monitoring solution uses IoT technology to upload data to the SensoScientific Cloud. This way, your devices never undergo downtime for bulk downloads and your staff doesn’t waste time performing them.

How does SensoScientific ensure calibration?

Our on-site A2LA Accredited Calibration Laboratory makes sure NIST traceable probes are accurately calibrated before arriving at your facility. The SensoScientific SNAP Calibration program allows for zero system downtime and allows you to decide how often you receive newly calibrate probes including annual, biennial, before the previous end date, or on-demand. We also offer on-site calibration from one of our ISO/IEC 17025 Certified Technicians.

What is the warranty on SensoScientific’s products?

Our devices have a 3-year guaranteed warranty, which is the longest on the market.

How many monitors can work on one system?

Since our monitors use the cloud, they can handle any size implementation for your needs. Whether you have one unit or 1000 units, the cloud can handle every device and ensure easy management.

What are the steps involved in the setup?

Our system uses plug-and-play technology meaning it is super easy to set up and can be used immediately.

How does updating work?

With over-the-air technology, there is no need to reprogram devices one by one. Devices update via a WiFi connection and will continue to record data during the upgrade process. Our developers provide continuous updates to ensure that the features are always geared toward providing the best possible experience.

What is your data recovery protection?

We know that data is the most important aspect of business for our clients. For that reason, the SensoScientific cloud runs with Microsoft Azure® to ensure your data is recoverable in case of a failover or fallback disaster.
